Complete Cable Lay System for Cable Lay Vessel Altera

We delivered a complete, turnkey cable lay spread for the new-build cable lay vessel Altera, operated by N-Sea Group. The scope covered the full project lifecycle from engineering and manufacturing through to installation and commissioning equipping the vessel for subsea cable installation projects worldwide.

At the heart of the system sits a 4,500 Te cable carousel, engineered for safe and efficient cable loading, storage and installation operations while maximising operational flexibility on board. The carousel integrates seamlessly with a high-performance loading tower and precision tensioning system, providing unmatched control over cable integrity in the most demanding maritime environments.

All equipment including cable routing components and associated control systems was delivered and commissioned in close coordination with the vessel's construction schedule, ensuring a plug-and-play offshore solution ready for immediate deployment.
