In a landmark project completed in Q1 2024, we delivered a sophisticated suite of subsea infrastructure designed to bridge the gap between heavy-scale transportation and precision installation. This multifaceted campaign centred on the bespoke design and high-spec manufacturing of three massive carousel systems, totalling an impressive combined capacity of 25,000 Te.
The centrepiece of this delivery was a 5,000 Te specialized Cable & Flexi-Pipe Laying Carousel, engineered for seamless integration onto a dedicated laying vessel. Complete with its high-performance loading tower, this system was built to handle the rigorous demands of offshore installation with surgical precision.
To support the operation, we further expanded the client's logistical capabilities with two gargantuan 10,000 Te transportation carousels, each equipped with integrated loading towers, creating a robust pipeline for large-scale cable movements. Beyond the hardware, our scope extended into the mission-critical full transpooling of subsea cables providing a fully synchronized, turnkey solution that maximized fleet efficiency and ensured the safe, reliable transit of high-value subsea assets.
