In the final quarter of 2024 we completed a multi-phase project built around a 10,000 T offshore carousel, one of the largest cable-handling systems we've delivered. The work brought together heavy equipment engineering and hands-on offshore operations.
The first phase covered the design, manufacturing and mobilisation of the full offshore spread. Alongside the 10,000 T carousel we delivered a loading tower and a tensioner package of 6 T tower tensioners and 15 T deck tensioners, together with the cable tracks, chutes and deck equipment needed for safe, stable handling at sea.
In the second phase our teams handled the transpooling of the subsea cable, transferring it from the supplier and offloading it to onshore storage. The result was a smooth, end-to-end operation that runs from the manufacturing plant all the way through to the storage site.
