We designed, engineered and built two 10,000 T onshore cable carousels for a storage facility at Kaohsiung Port in Taiwan, finishing the project in the third quarter of 2025. These are large-scale systems made to store and handle some of the heaviest cable loads in the industry.
Each carousel was fitted with custom loading arms and 5 T track tensioners to give precise control when moving cable between shore and ship. Getting that control right is what makes the difference when you're handling this much weight.
Alongside the carousels we took care of delivery, on-site installation support and final commissioning, so the client ended up with a complete, working storage facility ready to support large offshore projects.
