2,500 T and 5,000 T Carousel New Build 2021

In May 2021 we delivered a new-build carousel system for a cable-laying project. We designed and built a 2,500 T and a 5,000 T carousel, complete with a loading tower and a 5 T track tensioner, all at our manufacturing facility in Dubai.

We then installed the 2,500 T carousel onboard the cable-laying vessel Millennium 3, together with its loading tower and 5 T track tensioner. The setup was built for controlled cable handling, safe load transfer and reliable performance during offshore installation.

From engineering and fabrication through to delivery, this project shows how we tailor integrated cable-laying equipment to the specific vessel and the job it has to do.
