We secured our first framework contract with German transmission grid operator 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, awarded through a competitive European tender process. The contract covers the engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning of four newly designed cable storage and handling systems, with construction starting in September 2026, supporting 50Hertz's offshore and onshore grid infrastructure across the north and east of Germany.
At the core of the design are specifically engineered partition walls that keep both cable ends accessible for testing, even within tight warehouse and deck footprints solved through a smart, carousel-based architecture. Every system is electrically driven, engineered for low floor bearing loads and 25+ years of reliable service.
Through our joint ventures and subsidiaries, SCA Group operates engineering and manufacturing facilities across Europe and Dubai, having delivered more than 45 carousels worldwide. This win reinforces our position as a fully integrated carousel partner across international energy projects.
